One story, up to 3 heroes
No more fights over whose turn it is to be the hero.
One personalised audio adventure, and up to 3 brothers and sisters co-star in it together. Wayfable writes it and narrates it, and one tap sends it to their Yoto player once a Yoto account is linked: no MP3s, no uploads. Every story is written by AI to your brief, then narrated, and you can read the full text before it reaches the player.

How it works for siblings
Add up to 3 children, and one shared adventure stars all of them: written, narrated and given its own cover art as a single story. One tap sends it to your Yoto once your account is linked, so there are no MP3s to rip and no manual uploads. For the car, the same stories come as a private feed you paste into Apple Podcasts, Pocket Casts or Overcast.
Add your children
Their names, their ages, the things they love: set up once for the whole family.
One shared adventure
Every child is a co-star in the same story, written and narrated as one adventure.
One tap to their Yoto
Once a Yoto account is linked, audio and cover art arrive together: no MP3s to rip, no icons to resize, no uploads by hand.
Two heroes, one story: hear how it sounds
In a sibling story both children are written in throughout: no taking turns, and nobody waits to be rescued. This one was written for Maya, six, and Finn, four.
Example story: 45-second read
The last firefly light was fading when Maya and Finn reached the old rope bridge. On the far side, tucked in the roots of the silver oak, the Moon Lantern flickered, nearly out.
'Together?' said Maya.
'Together,' said Finn.
They stepped onto the bridge at the same moment, one hand each on the ropes, counting their steps out loud so the wobbles couldn't scare them. Halfway across, the wind rose and the lantern guttered to a tiny blue spark. Maya cupped her hands around her mouth and sang the waking song their grandmother had taught them, and Finn sang the low part, and the bridge stopped swaying to listen.
The spark steadied. It grew. And from the roots of the silver oak, something with soft golden eyes leaned out to see who was singing.
One story, two heroes, one credit price: a sibling story costs exactly the same as a story for one.

Questions parents ask
Can my children really be in the same story?
Yes — up to 3 children can co-star in one personalised story. You add each child's name, age and interests once, and the story is written so every child takes part in the same adventure.
Does each child get a separate story or card?
No — brothers and sisters share one story, and one tap sends it to their Yoto player once a Yoto account is linked. There is nothing to duplicate and nothing to upload by hand; the same adventure plays for everyone.
What if my children are different ages?
The story is written to the eldest child's listening level, and every child still co-stars. Interests from all the children are woven in, so a four-year-old's diggers and a seven-year-old's dragons can share one adventure.
How does the story reach our Yoto?
Wayfable generates the story, the narrated audio and the custom cover art. One tap sends it to their Yoto player, once a Yoto account is linked, so there are no MP3s to rip, no 16×16 icons to make and no manual uploads. Yoto's own card limits still apply — 100 tracks and 500MB per card — so a well-used card will eventually fill and need a second one.
What does a sibling story cost?
A story starring two or three siblings costs the same as a story for one. You start with 3 free trial credits — no card needed — and every account includes 50 free text stories a month within fair use, up to 10 a day. Narrated audio uses 1–2 credits depending on length and an illustrated storybook uses 2; credits are £10 for 20 (they never expire), or £7/month as a Founding Explorer. You do not need a Yoto — stories play in Wayfable on a phone, tablet or laptop — and the Yoto player itself is bought separately from Yoto. Read about how credits work, or start with your free credits below.
Will the story favour one of my children?
No — siblings are written as genuine co-stars. Every sibling story is written to a brief that asks for all of your children throughout, with roughly equal dialogue and agency and nobody cast as the sidekick, so there is no lead role to fight over. Stories are written by AI, so no two come out the same — you can read the full text before it reaches the player, and make it again if it isn't right.
Can I still make stories for just one child?
Yes — a story can star one, two or three children, and you choose every time. See how Wayfable works for a single hero on our homepage.
Tonight, they're both the hero.
